2010-2012 In Colours

Hi everyone!

I've been playing with the current In Colours and 'Vintage Vogue' stamp set lately and came up with two cards to share with you.

The first card I used my Peach Parfait marker to colour the white taffeta ribbon and then ruffled it... I think this really makes the card!
Card Recipe
Stamp: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Paper: In Colour 2010-2012 Patterns DSP Stack
Ink: Peach Parfait, Chocolate Chip
Ribbon: Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta

The second card uses a technique called faux silk, which I used on the flower.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Vintage Vogue
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Whisper White
Paper: In Colour 2010-2012 Patterns DSP Stack
Ink: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso

Envelope Card

Hi everyone!

Today I'd like to share a great technique called the Envelope Card. It's an envelope that's been sealed, then run through the crimper and has a card tucked inside!

Thanks for stopping by and happy stampin'!

Bright and colourful!

Hi everyone!

I've got quite a bright card for you today... slip on your sunnies and take a look! I was inspired to create something bright and colourful as spring is only 3 weeks away - woohoo!

This technique is called inlaid embossing and it is so easy to do! First I stamped the images onto cardstock, then punched them out. I then adhered them to my cardstock mat and run it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder.

Card Recipe
Stamps: Circle Circus, Word Play

Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Old Olive, Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight
Punch: Decorative Label, 1' circle, 1 3/8" circle, 1 3/4" circle
Embossing Folder: Square Lattice
Ribbon: Whisper White 5/8" Satin

Happy stampin'!
